  1. Install the companion app — a small local program that provides the speech engine. One-time setup, runs in the background.
  2. Open any supported video — YouTube, Bilibili (incl. Bangumi), TED, X (Twitter), Xiaohongshu, Hongguo Short Drama, TikTok, Instagram, Douyin, Netflix (web versions). Caption on/off works on YouTube and Bilibili; other sites read the on-screen subtitles (OCR) automatically.
  3. Listen — subtitles are translated and read aloud automatically. Use the floating ball to pause, switch language or voice.
